Two men are under arrest in connection with a weekend fire that decimated a Fall River school building.

Fall River Police say 27-year-old Kristopher Cabral of Fall River and 24-year-old Jeffery Aguiar of Plymouth turned themselves into police early Sunday morning, after police had obtained arrest warrants for the two men.

Police allege the men broke into the Coughlin School early Saturday morning, and started a fire that caused heavy damage between the first and second floor, and collapsed a portion of the roof.

The 110-year-old school has been closed since 2008.

Cabral and Aguiar are charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime. The men have been named as suspects in the arson fire and may face additional charges once the investigation is complete.
