Fall River Police Charge Man Who Allegedly Kicked Swans

FALL RIVER — Fall River Police have charged a man with animal cruelty after he allegedly kicked swans earlier this week.

According to police, they conducted an investigation into swans being kicked in the area of Battleship Cove on Tuesday, April 27.

They say that upon completion of the investigation, 32-year-old Shawn Lord has been criminally charged with one count of cruelty to animals.

No other information was provided, but police did say they wanted to “thank the individuals that came forward to report this incident.”
