NEW BEDFORD - A Fairhaven woman faces charges after police say she overdosed in her car.

New Bedford Police say 48-year-old Tracy Hobson of Sconticut Neck Road was found passed out in her car on Campbell Street before 5 a.m. Wednesday. The car was on the sidewalk and against a fence when police arrived.

Two doses of Narcan were administered in order to revive Hobson. She was transported to St. Luke's Hospital for evaluation.

Hobson faces charges of operating under the influence of drugs and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
