Fairhaven Shed Fire

A large shed was destroyed following a fire in Fairhaven Sunday night.

Firefighter Wayne Oliveira says the fire at 39 Spring Street was reported shortly before 6:30 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find the backyard shed fully engulfed in flames.

The home, which was only 10 feet away from the shed, sustained damage to the vinyl hand rails on the back deck.

The damage is estimated to be roughly $10,000, but no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
