FAIRHAVEN — The suspect in a spate of vehicle break-ins in North Fairhaven this week was caught on surveillance footage scooting away from the scene, and police are asking for the public's help in identifying them.
Police said in a Facebook post Thursday that 12 break-in victims are looking for answers after the suspect went through their vehicles in North Fairhaven on Tuesday night.
More images of the suspect will be posted soon, the department wrote.

It's unclear exactly where in North Fairhaven the break-ins took place, or how many items the thief was able to scoot away with.
Police asked residents who recognize the person by their clothing, scooter, or just in general to contact the department.
