Fairhaven Man Arrested for Heroin After Sleeping in New Bedford Hotel Parking Lot

NEW BEDFORD — A Fairhaven man is arrested after he is found sleeping in his vehicle in the parking lot of a New Bedford hotel.

New Bedford Police were called to the New Bedford Inn and Suites at 500 Hathaway Road Wednesday just after 10 a.m., on a report that a male was sleeping in his parked vehicle with the driver's door open.

Upon further investigation, police discovered the man was in possession of a small amount of heroin.

Police arrested 30-year-old Brandon John Reusch of 344 North Main Street, Apartment 2 South in Fairhaven, on charges of possession of heroin.
