Every animal deserves a loving family, and every family deserves to feel the unconditional love from a four-legged friend. Wet Nose Wednesday is here again, and it's all about uniting animals with the perfect home.

With the help of SouthCoast shelters, we give the spotlight each week to one lucky animal that is up for adoption in the area, in hopes of getting them home for good. This week, we head to Fairhaven Animal Shelter, where a Lab/Shepherd mix is impatiently waiting.

Meet Morgan, a bubbly, 1-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix that is full of energy and full of love. She is still dealing with puppy energy at her young age, but with some TLC and training efforts, she'll make for a great companion.
Morgan was originally surrendered to another shelter, but due to their small yard, she was transferred to Fairhaven Animal Shelter to thrive and release some of her energy.
She has spent the last two months there, and unfortunately, has not received one application for a potential family.
Morgan gets along great with other dogs and is always up for playing games. She was recently spayed and is up to date on her vaccines. Not to mention she is beautiful, smart, and fun. What's not to like?
Are you the perfect family for Morgan? Contact the Fairhaven Animal Shelter, like them on Facebook, and schedule a play date to meet your new best friend. She's dying to meet you.

LOOK: Here Are 30 Foods That Are Poisonous to Dogs

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
