It's 44 years old and still going strong. The Fairhaven Father's Day Road Race attracts hundreds of runners each year, from the very young to senior citizens. Alan Days organizes the event and raises thousands of dollars that he awards to non-profit agencies and charities in Greater New Bedford. Alan Days and Carol Anne Days visit with Jim Phillips this week to discuss this year's Father's Day Road Race, and why they keep the tradition going.

If you have a public event, festival, or neighborhood activity you want to publicize, submit your information here. You can also send an e-mail to Jim Phillips at jim.phillips@townsquaremedia.com. This program can also be heard by downloading the WBSM app.
