Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Our mission of getting animals adopted continues.

When it comes to animals, there are hundreds of them on the SouthCoast waiting for a forever place to call home. The goal of Wet Nose Wednesday is to unite these loving animals with the perfect family, and this week, we head to Fairhaven Animal Shelter in Fairhaven where a loving cat is ready to meet you.

Meet Callie, a 3-year-old Calico that has been at Fairhaven Animal Shelter since she was a kitten. She was adopted from the shelter as a kitten, but unfortunately, this little girl was recently returned.

Imagine getting a taste of love, only to have it taken away. Callie needs a second chance at love.

"She will be very loving and then she will let you know when she is done with that," the shelter joked. "She will need a quiet home with a patient family."

Callie starts suspicious, but when you gain her trust, she'll be ready to give you unconditional love. The shelter recommends that she be the only pet in the home.

Callie is up to date with vaccines, and all that is left to do is match her with the perfect, loving family. Does she sound like a good fit for you? Contact Fairhaven Animal Shelter, like them on Facebook, and schedule a play date today.

Callie can't wait to meet you.
