Extra Lane Closures Tonight On Braga Bridge

MassDOT has announced an extra lane closure for overnight construction work on I-195 west on the Braga Bridge, set to take place Wednesday night.

The closure will be in effect from 8:00 pm to 5:00 Thursday morning and is necessary to perform an annual bridge inspection.

During those hours one travel lane will remain open so drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to find alternate travel routes.

The construction schedule is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
