ESPN To Set Up Shop In Fall River For Hernandez Trial
ESPN is renting office space in Fall River because of the Aaron Hernandez trial and Kenneth Fiola with the city's Economic Development Office is hopeful that will bring business into Fall River.
In an interview with WLNE-TV, Fiola said he thinks that the businesses near the courthouse will benefit. ESPN's lease is for 6 months of 700 square feet on the 1st floor of the Cherry & Webb building at 139 South Main Street.
Fiola went on to say that other media outlets may follow ESPN's lead in acquiring space near the courthouse which could mean a huge bump in business for area merchants.
Hernandez is charged with murder in the June shooting death of 27 year old Odin Lloyd. The trial date has not been set.
