Early Morning Apartment Fire in Brockton Leaves One Person Dead

BROCKTON — An apartment fire in Brockton Tuesday morning has left one person dead.

The state Department of Fire Services says a fire at a 13-unit apartment building, located at 31-33 Harvard Street in Brockton, took the life of one of the occupants in the early morning hours. The identity of the deceased is unknown at this time.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Brockton Fire Department, Brockton Police Department and State Police assigned to both the Office of the State Fire Marshal and to the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office.
