Durkin Spending Lots Of Time In New Bedford

New Bedford's new incoming Superintendent of Schools doesn't take over till July 1st, but Dr. Pia Durkin has already been involved in some high level discussions in the School Department.....

Dr Durkin is coming to New Bedford from the Attleboro school district.  She thanked Interim Superintendent Mike Shea and Mayor Jon Mitchell for letting her get involved in what she called the "table setting" prior to her taking over.
