Durfee Teacher Arrested on Child Porn Charge

A Durfee High School history teacher is charged with possessing child pornography.

Thirty-four-year-old Nathaniel Jezak was arrested last week. The Herald News reports he was arraigned Thursday in Fall River District Court, and was ordered held on $1,000 bail.

The school department has placed Jezak on paid administrative leave. He's worked for the district since 2014, and over the last several years has taught ninth-grade history at Durfee.

According to the Herald News, the criminal investigation was started by School Resource Officer Brandon Pacheco, who asked investigators to conduct a forensic examination of Jerzak's cell phone,

The paper says the examination found numerous images and videos of juvenile girls engaged in sex acts with adults.

Also located were photos of nude girls of high school age. Authorities are investigating whether any of the girls are students in the Fall River school system.
