Dubai Chocolate Has Made Its Way to the SouthCoast
Dubai chocolate has been trending all over social media, but what is it and why are people making such a big deal out of it?
I can admit, I have a sweet tooth, especially when it comes to chocolate, and I have been hearing about this Dubai chocolate for months now.
Do I have to go to Dubai to taste what everyone is talking about? Is it really expensive because it's flown in from the United Arab Emirates? I wasn't getting it.

What Is Dubai Chocolate?
Dubai chocolate is a chocolate bar filled with pistachio cream and a shredded phyllo dough. Went I first caught a glimpse, I thought it was something else, I won't say it, but I know you thought the same thing. It was inspired by a middle eastern pastry, Knafeh.
While the original was created by a chocolatier in Dubai, due to its viral social media moment many people across the world have replicated it. It has even made its way to the SouthCoast with several local businesses tapping into the trend.
Where Can You Get Dubai Chocolate on the SouthCoast?
Most notably, area favorite Christopher's in Fall River made up a white chocolate version that looks absolutely amazing.
Now I may be the one who is late to the Dubai chocolate game, here but The Baker- New Bedford had a line out the door for their Dubai chocolate donut back in March.
Speaking of donuts, The Donut Factory also features a Dubai strawberry cup which looks so good.
There are more I'm sure and I have yet to have a taste it, but it may be time to jump on the Dubai chocolate trend.
Have you tried this viral treat? If so, thoughts?
