Doherty Insurance Opens New Office In North End

A North End insurance company with a 40-year history in New Bedford, has moved into a new home. 

J-M Doherty Insurance has relocated from Mt. Pleasant St. to a new building at 1000 Ashley Boulevard, adjacent to BayCoast Bank. 

Doherty Insurance is part of the Partners Insurance Group made up of seven small insurance companies in Greater New Bedford and Fall River.

Doherty Insurance also has an office in Fairhaven.  Partners Insurance employs 33 people in the region.
