These Rescue Dogs Ride Around in Doggie Train Cars and Have Adventures
All dogs love to go for walks (well, except bulldogs), but one group of pooches in Texas gets around via a unique method: in a specially made dog train -- and they love that too.
Eugene Bostick of Fort Worth, Texas, has spent much of his retirement years taking in stray dogs and giving them better lives, but he thinks his self-designed canine locomotive might be his best idea yet. "Whenever they hear me hooking the tractor up to it, man, they get so excited," he told The Dodo. "They all come running and jump in on their own. They're ready to go."
The rescued dogs may have had harder lives before they met Conductor Bostick, but now with plenty of room on his farm to run and dig and do whatever else dogs love to do, they also get to take trips around town in their very own train cars made from plastic barrels. They're local celebrities too:
"The dogs have a great time," he says. "They just really enjoy it."
From what we can see, he's 100 percent right.
