Daytime Shooting Reported in New Bedford’s North End

NEW BEDFORD - Police are investigating after six gunshots were reported in New Bedford's North End.

New Bedford Police say the shots were detected by the City's ShotSpotter system just after 10 A.M. Wednesday in the area of 297 Coffin Ave.

Detectives were on scene collecting evidence, including shell casings. There is no evidence of property damage or any injuries.
