The New Bedford Licensing Board has granted the owner of Davy's Locker a temporary liquor license.

Owner Jeff Dolinsky failed to file for his liquor license renewal before the December 31st deadline, and submitted an application as a late renewal to the board.

Board Director Nick Nanopoulos tells WBSM News it's up to the state's Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission to grant a permanent license.

Dolinsky may serve alcohol at Davy's Locker for up to thirty days with the temporary license. A decision from the state is expected before the license expires. Dolinsky declined to comment at the time.
