DATMA (Design Art Technology Massachusetts) is an arts organization that's making waves in New Bedford. Its "Silver Currents" exhibit at Custom House Square will be open to the public through September 30. That exhibit will enable visitors to see the coastal wind currents moving through New Bedford, that otherwise could not be seen. DATMA will also host a Kite Festival on July 27 at Fort Taber. DATMA stands for design, arts, technology-Massachusetts. Co-founder and Chair Roger Mandle visits with host Jim Phillips this week, sharing the vision of DATMA, and its future in New Bedford.

If you have a public event, festival, or neighborhood activity you want to publicize, submit your information here. You can also send an e-mail to Jim Phillips at jim.phillips@townsquaremedia.com. This program can also be heard by downloading the WBSM app.
