Dartmouth Police Chief Suffers Heart Attack, Is Recovering
DARTMOUTH - Dartmouth's Police Chief is recovering after suffering a heart attack last week.
A police spokesman confirms Chief Robert Szala checked himself into a local hospital Tuesday night after experiencing discomfort at the Russells Mills Road headquarters earlier that day. It was determined that Chief Szala had suffered a heart attack.
He is said to be in good condition and is recovering.
The department is unsure when Szala will return to work.
