Dartmouth Police Arrest Suspect in Liquor Store Break-In
DARTMOUTH — Dartmouth Police arrest a man for breaking into a local liquor store and stealing merchandise.
On Saturday, October 7 at approximately 4:09 a.m., Dartmouth Police responded to an alarm at Lizzie's Liquors, located at 839 State Road. Upon arrival, Officer Marc Vachon located a broken window and confirmed that some merchandise had been taken from inside the store.
In an effort to locate the suspect, Dartmouth Police K-9 Officer Christoper Flechsig and his K-9 partner "Sig" responded to the scene. As a result of the ensuing track, Officer Flechsig and "Sig" located a male suspect hiding in the woods in close proximity to the establishment, and identified him as Sean Barry, 40, of Washington Street, North Attleboro.
Barry was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with breaking and entering into a dwelling, larceny under $250 and two counts of vandalizing property.
