Dartmouth Police Arrest New Bedford Man on Drug Charges
DARTMOUTH — A New Bedford man has been arrested on drug charges by Dartmouth Police.
Dartmouth Police say at approximately 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, narcotics detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop at the Dartmouth Motor Inn.
During the corresponding investigation, detectives located approximately 9 grams of suspected crack cocaine inside of the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, the operator, identified as 24-year-old Joshua Washburn, of New Bedford, was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
At the time of his arrest, Washburn had approximately $1,100 in cash on his person that was seized.
