Dartmouth PD Arrest Man Who Exposed Himself to Area Women

DARTMOUTH — Authorities have arrested a Dartmouth man suspected of exposing himself to several women in the area on numerous occasions.

Dartmouth Police say on Sunday, Officer Justin Amaral arrested 23-year-old Jose Luis Diaz, of Dartmouth, and charged him with open and gross lewdness, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation.

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Officer Amaral after it was alleged by several women over the past few days that Diaz had accosted and exposed himself to them.

Diaz was also a suspect in a similar incident which occurred at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

At the time of his arrest, Diaz was operating a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan registered in his name.
