Dartmouth Mall Officially Welcomes Cinnabon and Carvel

The Dartmouth Mall has officially opened two sweet treats just in time for Mother's Day.

Just a few months ago, we shared the news that the Dartmouth Mall would welcome both a Cinnabon and Carvel to its food selections and two have now officially opened.

There's no denying the smells that come from Cinnabon make you want to stop and get one of those massive, gooey and delicious treats, it takes all my will power to keep walking.

While the original hope was to get them open for Easter, some minor construction delays pushed that back a couple of weeks. Regardless, we are excited they are both open just in time for the summer months.

I can remember back in the day the mall had one; this is when I was left to run around the mall on a Friday night because apparently it was cheaper and safer then having an actual baby sister. The only thing that would get me to sit still for a minute was a Cinnabon and a trip to the Discovery Zone. Please tell me some of you remember when the mall had a ball pit and obstacle course.

Either way, I'm glad to have those aromas back. Now if we could just get the Merry Go Round to return, which for those that don't know was the popular teen clothing store of the '90s that was located where H&M is now.

Ok, enough showing my age. Be sure to stop by the newly-opened Cinnabon and Carvel this weekend and pick up a sweet treat for yourself or for your mom.
