Dartmouth Community Band [Townsquare Sunday]

The Dartmouth Community Band has been performing in and around Dartmouth for almost 50 years and is still going strong! The Community Band performs at Apponagansett Park on Gulf Road in Dartmouth every Tuesday evening during the months of July and August, but perhaps the band is best known for its annual Pre-Independence Day concert at the former Russells Mills Schoolhouse held in early July. The Band is welcoming new members this month. Neil Sylvia visits Townsquare Sunday this week to discuss the 48-year history of the Dartmouth Community Band and share how you can get involved.
