DARTMOUTH — Dartmouth Police are investigating an assault and unarmed robbery that took place at a convenience store early this morning.

According to police, officers responded to the Cumberland Farms located at 142 Rockdale Avenue at about 12:50 a.m. this morning for a report of an assault and unarmed robbery.

The male victim told officers that when he exited the store, he was attacked and beaten by four men. He said they stole $20 from him and fled in a black sedan.

Police say the victim received a minor injury to his head and refused medical treatment.
