Damian is an active, kind and engaging boy. He enjoys playing with action figures, Legos, arts and crafts, and electronics.  He's willing to roll up his sleeves to help out in the kitchen, particularly when it comes to meal prep.

Damian loves horseback riding and attends horseback riding camps. He stays active and is excited by activities that allow him to burn off his energy, such as soccer or track. He has a competitive streak and strives to be the best he can be when playing with peers.

Damian attends public school. He does well in this setting and is widely liked by peers and adults.

In a poem, he describes himself as nice, strong, fast and good at sports. He prides himself on being a friend and lists his preferred activities and interests as superheroes and playing games. Damian is looking forward to moving up a grade and has no fears.

When Damian is older he hopes to buy a Tesla and meet famous Youtuber MrBeast. Damian took a lot of time and effort to write this awesome poem at a recent event, which was wonderful to witness.

Damian will need a family that is open to a possible open adoption agreement with his biological parents. Damian will do best in a family where he is either an only child or the youngest child with significantly older children. He would benefit from a family with experience and supports. Damian needs an active family that is willing to keep him busy and channel his energy in the right direction.

Who Can Adopt?

If you’re at least 18, have a stable source of income and have room in your heart, you may be a perfect match to adopt a waiting child. Adoptive parents can be single, married or partnered; experienced or not; renters or homeowners; LGBTQ+ singles and couples. As an adoptive parent, you won’t have to pay any fees. Adoption from foster care is completely free in Massachusetts.

Adopting a child from foster care includes training, interviews and home visits to determine if adoption is right for you. These steps will help match you with a child or sibling group that will be a good fit.

To learn more about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) at (617) 964-6273 or visit www.mareinc.org. Start the process today and give a waiting child a permanent place to call home.
