Two Tasty New Bedford Favorites Have Joined Delicious Forces

Tired of finding an ice cream spot after you've gone out to eat? Well, Dairy Maid and Cisco Brewers have heard you and now these two New Bedford favorites have teamed up to make your taste buds extra happy.

Cisco Brewers New Bedford has a pretty sweet spot along the water on Rodney French Boulevard. Serving their signature beers along with amazing food outside with live music in the background was a perfect day out ... almost.

Things have just gotten better over at the "premier SouthCoast dining destination" with the addition of Dairy Maid ice cream. Dairy Maid's Swirls at Cisco has officially opened and it's going to make your next dinner by the water that much better.

John Sylvia, general manager of Dairy Maid and Dairy Maid's Swirls at Cisco, tells us that this dream combination came about months ago.

"Steve Silverstein (owner of Cisco) approached us about partnering with them in March and we of course said yes," Sylvia said.

Sylvia added that Dairy Maid's Swirls at Cisco won't just be a copy of Dairy Maid's long-standing Cove Road location.

"The menu will consist of some Dairy Maid classics but our soft-serve offerings will be exclusive to Cisco. The soft-serve menu will change regularly with a variety of different ice creams and Dole whip flavors (dairy-free soft serve)."

So, burgers, brews, and swirls of soft serve have now combined delicious forces to make eating along the waterfront in New Bedford that much better.

Dairy Maid's Swirls at Cisco opened officially Wednesday, July 13, at noon. It will operate Sunday to Wednesday, noon to 9 p.m., and Thursday to Saturday, noon to 10 p.m.
