Crews Search for Possible Jumper off Braga Bridge in Fall River

FALL RIVER — Emergency crews are on the scene of the Braga Bridge in Fall River, searching for a possible jumper after an unattended vehicle was found left on the bridge.

According to scanner reports, sometime after 5:30 p.m., a report came in of a car found unattended on the Braga Bridge, with witnesses reporting that they saw someone jump from the bridge.

The U.S. Coast Guard, Fall River Police and the Somerset Harbormaster all reported to the scene, scanner reports indicated. The Narragansett Bay Marine Task Force was also called to the scene.
