Can you imagine trying to help a baby seal, that was bitten by a shark, and told you could face up to a $5,000 for just touching the injured seal?

Well, that's the reality facing Mark Hodgdon and his fiancée after a baby seal swam to Hodgdon, injured from a shark bite, that went all around its tiny body. The couple called the Marshfield Animal Control and the New England Aquarium, and after examining the seal, they released it back into the water saying the injuries weren't that serious. But then, the couple were asked if they had touched the seal because, if so, it could carry a fine of $5,000! The couple were not only bewildered about the possible fine, but were brokenhearted because they're sure the injured baby seal drowned. What are your comments?
