Bill Cosby's legal team is asking for a change of venue in his sexual assault case.

Court documents filed Friday show the comedian's lawyer, Brian McMonagle, wants the case moved out of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania due to heavy media coverage.

In the motion, the attorney acknowledges the coverage of the case has been national, but claims prospective jurors in Montgomery County have been subjected to extensive negative coverage.

It also adds the 79-year-old Cosby has been branded, quote, " a monster, sociopath and sexual predator."

Cosby is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault from an incident involving Andrea Constand. The former Temple University employee accused Cosby of sexual assault in a 2004 encounter. (TTWN Media Networks Inc)
