Corrections Officer Indicted for Having Sex with Inmate

A Plymouth County Grand Jury has indicted a New Bedford woman on one count of having sexual relations with an inmate while she was working as a corrections officer.

According to the indictment, 53-year old Vickie Oliver was seen having sexual intercourse with a male inmate at the Massachusetts Treatment Center in Bridgewater on February 7.

According to a report in the Brockton Enterprise, the inmate told investigators he and Oliver had a sexual relationship from July 2018 to February of this year.

Oliver will be arraigned at a later date in Brockton Superior Court.
