A New Bedford man charged in the shooting of a Narcotics Detective last month, has been found to be a danger to the community. 

A spokesperson for the District Attorney's office tells WBSM News,  Nathan Manuel-Jackson was ordered held without bail, following a dangerousness hearing Monday in New Bedford District Court.  He returns to court in March for a probable cause hearing. 

Another man charged in the shooting, Thomas Scott of Mattapan has already been found dangerous and is also being held without bail.  

Det.  Jonathan Lagoa was wounded in a drug raid on Davis Street.  The gunshot wounds were not life-threatening and he is now recovering.  Three other people in the Davis Street apartment will be summonsed to appear before a Grand Jury.
