Condition of New Bedford Shooting Victim Stable; No Arrests

NEW BEDFORD — Police are still investigating the Wednesday night shooting of a man in the area of Belleville Avenue and Bullard Street.

New Bedford Police tell us that the victim is in stable condition.  He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital after being found with gunshot wounds.

Officers responded to the neighborhood after being alerted by the ShotSpotter system at around 11:51 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police report they are continuing their investigation. As of Friday at Noon, no arrests have been made.
