City on a Hill Charter Public School held an informational session Saturday morning to give parents a look at what the school and its programs are like.

Families met with staff and administrators at Gallery X downtown to learn more about the new charter school.

City on a Hill will be relocating in April and principal Kim Wall expects the new facility will allow the student population to nearly double this coming school year.

The school will move into the former ArtWorks! building on Acushnet Ave.

Saturday's presentation highlighted the school's college prep curriculum and answered questions about the differences a charter school offers compared to a traditional public high school.
