Dartmouth Chick-fil-A Finally Opening Its Doors With ‘Cows Eat Free’ Deal
The SouthCoast has been buzzing – or should I say "mooing" – with anticipation, and now it’s official: Chick-fil-A is ready to welcome customers to its brand-new Dartmouth location.
The Long-Awaited Day
On Friday, September 12, the doors at the new Chick-fil-A will swing open bright and early at 6:30 a.m.., serving up hot, fresh favorites all day long until 10 p.m. It’s the chain’s latest Massachusetts location, and locals have been eagerly watching construction, waiting for the day they can grab a chicken sandwich closer to home.
The restaurant announced the grand opening on Facebook over the weekend:
“The wait is over, Dartmouth — our Grand Opening Day is finally HERE! We can’t wait to serve you your Chick-fil-A favorites — hot, fresh, and always with a smile," the post read.
Cows Eat Free
In true Chick-fil-A style, the grand opening comes with a playful promotion: Cows Eat Free.
Anyone who shows up in cow print, whether fully dressed head-to-hoof or just rocking a spotted T-shirt, will receive a free entrée from a special opening-day menu.
It’s a tradition the chain has carried through other markets, and now SouthCoast fans can get in on the fun. So expect to see plenty of black-and-white creativity flooding the parking lot from Route 6 and Faunce Corner.
A Community Welcome
Chick-fil-A Dartmouth says it’s not just about the food.

Its post emphasized opening their “doors and hearts to the SouthCoast community,” with promises of giveaways, opening-week fun, and updates for fans who follow along on the Facebook page.
After months of curiosity, construction and plenty of hungry chatter, the SouthCoast can finally cross this one off the wish list.
