The names of about 20 cardinals have come up in the media as possible successors to Pope Benedict the 16th.

An American priest who used to work at the Vatican Congregation for the Clergy says ultimately, the College of Cardinals will be looking for someone who's like Jesus.

Monsignor Christopher Nalty serves in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The College of Cardinals will meet informally today in Vatican City to set in motion the process of selecting a new Pope. A formal meeting to decide when to begin the conclave will be held on Monday.
