Police say the cattle thieves made their strike at the farm at 452 Old Fall River Road between 10pm and midnight Saturday, leaving with approximately $50,000 in cattle.

Police are releasing few details due to the nature of the ongoing investigation. The farm is located behind Gosselin and Son Mason-Landscape.

One local says tenants rent out portions of the farm from the owner, Mary Robinson, but the cows do not belong to her.
