Massachusetts State Police say an Interstate 195 traffic stop in Fairhaven on Sunday afternoon led to the arrest of a Cape Cod man on drug trafficking charges.

At approximately 2:08 p.m., troopers assigned to the Troop D Community Action Team (D-CAT) were monitoring traffic in New Bedford on Washburn Street. They stopped a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup for motor vehicle violations when it entered the interstate highway, police said in a statement.

State police say the driver, Marc B. Miller, 45, of Bourne, was allegedly found to be in possession of cash and approximately 11 grams of suspected fentanyl.

Miller was placed under arrest and transported to the State Police North Dartmouth Barracks for booking. He was charged with trafficking in fentanyl and scheduled to appear in New Bedford District Court for arraignment.

Police said no further information would be immediately available.
