America's 250th Anniversary Celebration is almost here, and details about how best to view the Tall Ships Parade in Boston Harbor are now available.
Sail Boston 2026, part of MA250, is the final leg of the nationwide Sail250 tour, which launched in New Orleans on May 28, 2026.
Dozens of magnificent sailing vessels from around New England, the U.S., and the world, including Italy's beloved Amerigo Vespucci, will dock in Boston from July 11 - 16, 2026.

The Portuguese Tall Ship Sagres will stop in New Bedford on July 11, 2026, before participating in the Boston parade.
Sail Boston 2026 Schedule and Ticket Costs
The Meet Boston Parade of Sail is on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Grandstand seating is available but costs $225 per person for general admission and $375 per person for premium tickets.

Old Ironsides to Lead Historic Fleet
Boston.com says, "More than 60 ships from more than 20 countries will make a grand entrance during the Parade of Sail on July 11, one of the largest gatherings of tall ships in the United States in decades," adding, "The parade will be led by the USS Constitution, known as Old Ironsides, which was built in 1797 in the North End and is the world's oldest commissioned warship."
Expected Traffic and Travel Delays
Millions of folks from throughout the world will visit Massachusetts during the FIFA World Cup action and the sesquicentennial celebration, and crowds could make traveling in and around Boston very difficult.
