To find the best of the best, you don't have to go far. A local Massachusetts orchard was recently named one of the best in the nation.
Selecting the Top Orchards
The first apple trees in America were planted in Boston back in 1625, so it's only fitting that one of the best orchards is right in our own backyard.
Red Apple Farm in Phillipston, Massachusetts was recently ranked No. 2 on USA Today's 10 Best list.
"Beyond picking your own fruit, visitors can savor award-winning cider donuts, enjoy hard cider crafted right at The Cidery, and relax in the cozy taproom at The Brew Barn," the site reads.

The local orchard shared the excitement and appreciation on its Facebook page.
"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who voted, shared, and cheered us on. Your support means the world and keeps our family farm growing strong for generations to come."
