BB Gun Used in Alleged New Bedford Robbery

NEW BEDFORD — Police were called to Orchard Street in New Bedford on Wednesday evening on the report of an armed robbery.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers were told by a male that he was involved in a fight when someone displayed a BB gun and took money from him.

Police provided no information on a possible suspect or any other details of the alleged robbery. They are continuing their investigation.
