New Hampshire's varying weather allows residents to participate in a plethora of outdoor activities year-round. Also, more than 20% of New Hampshire residents are 65 and older so therefore seniors will have little issue building a network of retirement-age friends with similar interests.

This New England State has the Best Economy in the U.S
A publication called Wallethub conducted a survey to uncover the best and worst state economies out of the 50 U.S states to determine which states are pulling the most weight. Massachusetts came in as the #1 state economy in the U.S because it has the second-most invention patents per capita, third-highest share of STEM professionals, and the highest percentage of firms that are listed on the Technology Fast 500 list.

New England Beach Named One of the Most Beautiful in the Country
Dr Beach has been reviewing, evaluating, and rating beaches for over 30 years. Dr Beach released their list of the top 10 most beautiful beach in 2025 and Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, Massachusetts, was the only New England Beach to make the list and it came in at #10.

This New England State is the Cheapest in the U.S for Music Lovers
A travel platform for experiences called Hellotickets analyzed tens of thousands of upcoming outdoor gigs and festivals across all 50 states to find the cheapest states in the U.S for music lovers. They calculated an average ticket price for each state using the cost of events in the area to discover where fans can expect the best value. Rhode Island came in as the #1 cheapest state for music lovers with an average ticket price of $41.97.
