Attempted Break-In In New Bedford

New Bedford Police are investigating an attempted break-in that took place early Thursday morning.

Detective Captain Steven Vicente says that at around 1 a.m. alarm came in from Joe's Gas Station at 277 Nash Rd.

When uniformed officers arrived on the scene they found pry marks on the back door.

No entrance was gained and the suspect had fled the scene before officers arrived.
