Rehoboth Educator on Leave After New Bedford Prostitution Arrest
REHOBOTH — An assistant principal at a Rehoboth middle school has been placed on leave after being arrested as part of a prostitution sting in New Bedford.
ABC6 is reporting that 45-year-old Aaron Viera has been placed on leave pending an investigation by school officials at Beckwith Middle School.
Viera was one of 15 people arrested in a prostitution sting in New Bedford's North End back on October 5. Parents were not notified, however, until a letter was sent to them by the Dighton-Rehoboth School District superintendent this past Sunday.
