Arrest Made In New Bedford Credit Union Robbery
An arrest has been made in the New Bedford Credit Union robbery that took place Tuesday morning.
New Bedford Police say the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Jesse James Hamel of New Bedford, was taken into custordy before noon at a home near the intersection of North and Foster Streets.
Police say Hamel suffered a medical emergency and is currently being treated at St. Luke's Hospital. Hamel faces one count of unarmed robbery.
Police are still searching for a second male connected to the robbery.
