Armed Robbery Reported in Driveway of New Bedford Residence

NEW BEDFORD — An armed robbery reportedly took place in the driveway of a city residence, but police are releasing few details.

Police confirm to WBSM News that they responded to a report of a possible armed robbery in the driveway of the home located at 106 Richmond Street Sunday evening at approximately 7:39 p.m.

According to NBPD logs, the suspect was masked and had a firearm. However, police would only confirm that the armed robbery was reported.

Police say the incident is under investigation, and no further details will be released.
