United Way of Greater Fall River will be requesting Letters of Interest for any 501(c)3 organization wishing to apply for Impact Grant funding for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
Impact Grants range from $1,000 to $10,000 with funding intended to strengthen families in United Way of Greater Fall River’s service area: Fall River, Westport, Assonet, Somerset, Swansea, Tiverton, and Little Compton. Proposals must align with United Way’s key pillars of focus: health, education, financial stability, and basic needs.

Preference will be given to innovative programs that focus on prevention, involve collaboration or capacity building, and demonstrate measurable effectiveness. Agencies are encouraged to use the Impact Grant Rubric found on the United Way website to guide their request.

Agencies will be required to submit the following information:

  • Contact information for project administrator and/or Chief Professional Officer
  • Introductory Letter with a 500-word project proposal, detailing alignment with the mission and goals of United Way Worldwide and United Way of Greater Fall River
  • Proof of 501(c)3 status
  • Certificate of Solicitation from the State of MA and/or RI
  • Pages 1-11 of the most recent Form 990

Letters of Interest, with accompanying documentation, must be uploaded to United Way of Greater Fall River by 11:59 pm on Sunday, March 28, via the online portal which can be found HERE.

Agencies selected to submit a complete grant proposal will be notified directly. Impact Grant results will be announced in late April.
