Maureen Boyle is a former award-winning police reporter for the New Bedford Standard-Times and Brockton Enterprise, educator and author.

Her first book, Shallow Graves: The Story of the New Bedford Highway Murders, helped revive interest in a 30-year old serial murder case that sadly remains unsolved.

Boyle's new book is entitled The Ghost: The Murder of Police Chief Greg Adams and the Hunt for His Killer. It's a story that connects Pennsylvania with Southeastern Massachusetts in a most unusual way.
